De Ligne Police Station, Brussels
De Klerck Engineering was responsible for the structural engineering and building services design, as well as the preparation of the construction specifications for the new De Ligne Police Station in Brussels. This large-scale project involves the conversion of the former Gemeentekrediet building into a modern, well-integrated urban police complex.
The structural modifications include the design of steel and concrete support structures to accommodate significant changes in floor levels, shafts, and openings for high-load areas such as cell blocks and intervention rooms. The technical design provides for highly reliable, redundant HVAC, electrical, IT, and security infrastructure in accordance with the strict safety protocols for police facilities.
