De Klerck Engineering is responsible for the design, sizing, and coordination of the technical systems, as well as the complete structural analysis for "The Brain". The AI hub is conceived as a cutting-edge research and innovation environment where high-performance computing, experimental research spaces, and offices converge.

This mix of functions presents significant technical challenges, ranging from high internal heat loads and continuous operational reliability to precise climate control and a flexible building structure capable of accommodating future expansions and changes in use. Our design is based on a closely integrated approach to HVAC, electrical infrastructure, fire safety, and structural optimization, ensuring that heat dissipation, air quality, and energy efficiency are balanced with robust load-bearing structures, vibration control, and an efficient building envelope design.
